Half term is child’s play in Newstead Woods, Blurton

If your children will be bored this week bring them to a Special children’s walk in Newstead Woods to learn about nature and have an opportunity to make models from Conkers, acorns and other items.

The walk will start from The Tollgate Squash Club car park at 1-00pm Tuesday October 30th.

Walk Leader Fred Quick said,” We have a theme every Tuesday but with this week being the school holiday, I decided to do something particularly for the children.”

After the walk we will return to the Squash Club where you may purchase refreshments and socialize with the other walkers.
